Summary

"Q" imagines a near-future society obsessed with genetic perfection and intelligence. In this world, citizens are ranked and segregated based on their Q scores, which measure genetic potential and cognitive abilities. Elena Fairchild, a teacher at a prestigious school and mother of two daughters, faces a moral crisis when her youngest daughter fails her monthly Q test and is sent to a state boarding school for lower-ranking children. As Elena delves into the dark truths behind the Q system, she must make difficult choices to protect her family and challenge the oppressive regime.
