Summary

About Author

V.L. Valentine is a senior science editor at National Public Radio (NPR) in Washington, D.C. She has led award-winning coverage of global disease outbreaks, including the coronavirus, Ebola, and Zika viruses. Valentine holds a master's degree in the history of medicine from University College London. Her non-fiction work has been featured in NPR, The New York Times, The Smithsonian Channel, and Science Magazine. "Begars Abbey" is her second novel, following her debut, "The Plague Letters," published in 2021.
