Why we exist
85% of the world lives outside the traditional publishing spotlight.
Yet most of what we read comes from the same few places.
We believe stories should travel further.
The Region Pass is how that begins.

The People Behind the Box

Dev has stamps of 40 countries on her passport. Dhruv wants to match that number in the next 2 years by exploring bookstores in at least as many countries as a part of the Box.
Small town kids, they can now be spotted around coffee shops, indie bookstores and libraries in London, plotting how to get the Box to change the publishing world but mostly pfaffing.
Dhruv Bonnerjee is an award-winning journalist turned entrepreneur and Co-founder of A Box of Stories. Dev Kothari is a management consultant turned writer & poet. Her debut novel, Bringing Back Kay-Kay, was listed for many awards including the Jhalak Prize and Branford Boase award.
They share a conviction: exciting stories exist everywhere - and they want to look in places the world doesn’t always look.
