Absolutely love my surprise books in every box, but for me it seems there is a geographical theme, a lot of my books seem to be based away from home (Africa, Asia etc.) which is nice and different for a change but I am looking forward to potentially receiving some more stories focused closer to home :)

This is a great concept - I actually love the idea of having books presented to me without me having to go through the rigmarole of making a choice. It helps me to try authors that I haven't heard of or considered, and opens my mind to new things - getting me out of my comfort zone! If I find a book is not for me, at least I tried it, and I know plenty of people I can pass it on to. Thank you!

I found a few of the books in this box a little "out there" for example lord valentines castle was less science fiction and more sort of thrillerish. I'm not sure how to describe it really. I felt like maybe it didn't belong with the other collection of stories I was sent.

The books in general are a good mix of titles, however there are two thriller style books in there which is a bit repetitive and I don't actually like thrillers as it means I can't sleep! However I have started reading closer than you think and it is compelling so far. Excited to read the others when I get to them

I work in publishing and because of this am aware of a lot of books that have been released in the past few years. I have been really pleased with the number of books in the boxes which I've never heard of before.
